I went to Home Depot yesterday, locked the car with the key fob and did some shopping. Came out, pressed the unlock button- no response. Tried the trunk opener, the panic alarm, lock ununlock but nothing worked. Bought a new battery and still no response. I had my son bring the other remote from home-nothing. Key would not unlock the door either. Locksmith opened it with a slim-jim, $55. It now works intermittently but I'm afraid to lock it again. Any ideas?

 

I would check for codes. Also check for power at Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR).

There are no codes. Can you tell me where the RCDLR is located?

 

Not positive on location but best guess is in trunk compartment attached to bottom of shelf - behind trim panel.
