Default Stupid question

Righto, I got a 1983 Coupe DeVille and I need to know if there is a way to remove the original locking hubcaps without the key. The key was long since lost by the previous owner, and I need to throw tires on in. Spoke to the local shops where i would be getting it done, and no one has the right "universal" key. Im not concerened about saving the hubcaps, because Im just throwing on winter rims, winter tires, and shes going to the body shop and getting some rims in the spring. Is there a way to cut them off? SOMETHING?????

Default RE: Stupid question

Hey you misfit: You could drill into the bolt about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch and then use an "Easy Out" to back the bolt out of the wheel. Not sure if all of the locking wrenches are the same profile but maybe just talk to another Caddy owner and use his wrench?? Hope this helps bud.
