Default straightening bent metal

So I took the door off and was gonna put the new hinge on today but there is a small bubble in the body where the first bolt, the one closest to the door, attaches to the hinge. Can someone give me some tips on straightening this so the hinge will sit flush. Its nothing serious but Im not a body man and all I have is a ball peen hammer. Any advice would be helpful.

So when you say bubble you mean a raised area? One thing for sure don't start beating on it with your one and only Ball Peen. You need something with more surface area than than. You work the area slowly and gently, patience is the key otherwise you will get it worse.
