Should I be worried?

RE: Should I be worried?
Stomper,
Thanks for clarifying that. I will research for the chemical type exhasut gas in coolant test.
I used the off brand additive only because that is all they (Autozone) carried. The store said it was the same organic stuff as in the Bar's brand. I think I paid $2.99 for it.
I have been out driving city and highway from location to location this morning with no coolant smell, but it is raining pretty hard. I will check again after I drive home tonight.
What about my coolant fans not coming on yesterday? Anyone?

the only way i know to test a cooling fan is to start the car and unplug the coolant temp sensor ( no clue where it is at on the N*, should be somewhere near the thermostat though) with the sensor unplugged the fans SHOULD kick on, if they do, u may be looking at a bad sensor, if they do not, your looking at most likely a bad fan relay, if the worst scenario a bad fan, hope that helps
