Default Question about '97 Deville Computer Display

I recently bought a 1997 Deville D'elegance and there is a message on the display that says "Exp 46." Can anybody tell me what this means?

Thanks

The first thing that this message tells you is that your car was manufactured for sale in Canada. Because the dispaly can only show English and notshow French these codes were developed for cars initially sold in Canada.

According to my manual, APPLY BRAKE TO SHIFT - 46 is the code you have. You can stop this from displaying every time on the DIC by holding the OFF and Blue cooler buttons together for about 5 seconds.
