I am looking at getting a '05 and one option listed is phone. I have been in the car and I do not understand this option. There is On-Star. Is it associated with it?
Instead of looikng stupid in front of a salesman, I can ask here. I have done a search for phone without success.

Ok , iam not a 100% sure but i have seen this option on a volvo i was looking at and i think what it is, is that it has a numerical keypad like a phone. For example this one was right below the face of the strero and is intergrated i would assume into the stero ( Prolly via bluetooh maybe...). Outside of that i dont know too much more , like i said its a guess and not a 100% sure. Also just found that "Hands-free, factory-installed phones are appearing due to bans on cell phone usage while driving."

I have found since that is indeed part of the On-Star package (in conjunction w/ Verizon).
