Ordered a 2007 Yesterday
I ordered a 2007 DTS yesterday. MSRP $55,495.00. I got the top of the line DTS with the Performance Package. Extra options were 1) Sunroof, 2) Navigation, 3) Tehama Leather seats. Exterior is White Lightning (wanted Galcier White, but it is already out of production for 2007 - problems?) and interior is the two tone Cashmere with the darker brown Tehama leather seating. You have to sit in these seats with the massage feature on to understand what comfort is.
I ordered beacuse there are virtually no DTS's out there with Luxury III or Performance Packages. There are lots of Luxury I s out there (I call these strippers or future program cars) and a few Luxury II s.
The only other things you could possibly get on any DTS that I did not get were the Adaptive Cruise Control (reviews said it was a useless waste of money and very disturbing to use, plus there is a footnote somewhere in the option descriptions that says you get a different steering wheel with this option that I believe does not have power tilt and telescope) and I did not get the front grill painted to match the car (I like the chrome grill).
There currently is a $2,145 rebate when you get the navigation system (they finally realized these are standard on virtually all new cars now). In addition, the current promotion of the 5 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty is applicable.
Now if they will just match Ford's zero interest financing before it arrives!
Trading in a loaded 2004 SLS with 31,000 miles. It has been an extremely nice car, but has the hard european style seats which my wife finds OK, but I find them completely unacceptable (she bought the car without even seeing it or taking a test drive - that's what I get for telling her to get what she wants).

2004 Chevrolet Corvette, Torch Red with tan interior, play car
1998 Chevrolet CK2500 (3/4 ton) 4x4 pickup, white with tan interior, boat/trailer puller
