Hey Guys, what do you think?
Should the oil be changed every 3000 milesor 3 months like you would any other vehicle or should I change by the Oil Life Gauge on my Caddy? I have put just over 3000 miles, with about 2 weeks left on the 3 mo interval. However, my oil life is at 45%. I usually change every 3000 miles as I always use the miles before the 3 months is up. Just curious as to what you guys usually do.

The reminder is just that in my opinion. If you read all of those post which wll take about an hour (hee hee) you will see many opinions.
I use the reminder to change my oil and try not to let it get below 15-20% before I do BUT there is absolutely no harms for you to go by the 3 month rule unless of course if the reminder comes on before 3 months. I would say you`d probably be better off changing early vs. the reminder.
