Default no wipers but plenty of rain please help

i have 2000 dts, with rain sensors about two weeks ago they started acting up (not turning off) now they are in the upright position and wont move at all. I checked the fuse, its fine. can anyone tell me how to locate the wiper motor its not visible from what i can tell. also is there a way to temporarily jump/bypass the rain sensor.

The sensor is next to the windshield rear view mirror. It works by sensing light being distorted over the sensor. Is that area of the windshield clean? to disconnect, I would think unplugging it at the sensor wire harness would be the best.I think because they wont park, the wiper switch or motoris faulty not the rain sense sensor.
