I just purchased a 96 sedan deville with 39k miles on it from the perverbial little old lady. The car is spotless and has a clean carfax. I would appreciate any comments on what I can expect from this ride. I understand it is a 13 year old car and I also understand things break. What I am looking for is your overall opinion and comments related to reliability, things to keep in mind or watch out for etc. All comments will be appreciated.

 

well they are clean rides. although i think you are in the spot from certain years i think devilles have head gasket problems so watch out for that so do as i say on the top change you coolant. i have a 96 deville just like yours, i just did a head gasket change and im still stuck there with timing but i will get it. N E way . they are really nice cars. nice handling, smooth acceleration, smooth ride, more when U R HIGH (LOL) o ther than that they are great cars if no problems are found.
