Issue with 2000 deville locks

Issue with 2000 deville locks
just bought a new(ish) 2000 deville. LOVE IT.
the service theft message shows up now and then. but my MAIN ISSUE is that the lock buttons only lock (apart from the passenger door button that also unlocks). wondering how i can fix this issue, id like to get the drivers side door to unlock so i don't have to lean over overtime to press the unlock on the passenger door to let my girlfriend in...
any help on this matter would be appreciated..
