FlCaddytech need your opinion
You didn't win a prize yet. However I did take my 2001 Deville back today because there is a gurgling sound when I turn the steering wheel. Wasn't there until they installed the new rack and pinion. It gurgles for about 4 seconds after I turn off the engine too. Sounds like somebody blowing bubbles in a pot of oil!. They said there could be some air in the system and to give it about 1,000 miles. If it continues after that, bring it back. What do you think? (and no I didn't see anybody under the hood with a straw).

It's possible, however 500 miles should be more than enough time to bleed any remaining air from the system
(unless maybe you drove that far in a straight line).
Did they at least check the fluid level when you brought it back?
Most quiet up within 20 minutes of run time.
Every so often i get a stubborn one, but i wouldn't release a noisy car after i just repaired it.
Its probably just air and i truly hope this ends your bad luck.

Yes they did check the fluid level. The suspension tech looked it over and said everything looks good. The service manager told me he will put a new one in if it doesn't quiet down but to give it month or 1,000 miles. I'll keep you informed. Thanks for the feed back. I have been at the dealer so much latley that the cashier wanted to know if I was going to take tomorrow off.
