Default engine mount

i have a 95 deville with a 4.9L, the front engine mount is bad the engine just rocks back and foward. how bad is it to replace? what has to be done

Hey Dallac: The motor mounts aren't that bad to replace. You just jack slowly on the oil pan using a block of wood on the jack head, take the weight off the mount so you can get the block bolts and the through bolts undone. Be careful when jacking that the engine or components don't hit anything on the way up. You may have to loosen the rad shroud to give the fan room to move. Good luck.............
