I have a 91 sedan deville with a 4.9 engine and 110,000 miles. Recently, the fuel monitoring gauge and the climate control gauge blink and then display what looks like a small c on the digital display. Also, the defroster comes on high. Everything else works fine. Then, after a while, it suddenly goes back to normal. Then repeats this problem.

Any ideas of what is wrong?

 

Hi, my 1989 Fleetwood did exactly the same thing. I have been given some advice from other members which I value very much, but if you got your problem fixed then i would know exactly what the problem is. Thanks for your assistance. 158cary

 

Follow advice given to 158cary. Factory Manuals are are recommended over chilton or haynes.
