Need help to get the dash pad cover off of my 99Deville I found the screws in the vent on top but the cover still would not come off . Is there anyone that could help. The cover is comming loose from the metal and would like to repair it

 

I' m not sure which screwes you're talking about but my 96 had the same problem with the dashpad peeling up. I used a product called goop, you can find it at pep boys, I reglued down the dash and cleaning both the metal and the underside of the dash cover. Put some weight on it after you glue it, it takes a couple hours to set up. Haven't had the dash come up since and it looks way better.

 

Thanks for the info. But need to remove the dashpad and the metal that it is glued to to repair it. flat rate to R&R is only 1 hr so can't be to bad to remove. Just need to know to get it off Thanks
