Default RE: electronic control module

Hey Dez: The ECM should work on the other car, It won,t cost you anything to find out, just a little time. I went to my jobber and got a recon. unit for like $160.00, you just have to take your other unit in as a core exchange. I had to keepmy calpac and prom chips from the old unit because the new unit didn,t come with them. The chip change is easy to do you just have to be very careful not to bend any of the tiny pins when reinstalling the chips into the new ECM. Good luck with that. Caddies are fun aren't they????
