Default Crankshaft position sensors

Hi, First I would like to thank this forum for all the helpful information I have received in the past. I am a new member but have frequented this site for years. My question is can crankshaft position sensors on a 1999 Deville northstar 110,000 mi. be replaced without going to the dealer. I have access to a lift and have a relatively good mechanical background. I just want to make sure I'm not tackling something over my head or may require special tools. My car has a PCM code P0300 and stalls sometimes and skips when its first started before warm up. After operating temp it runs smooth as glass. Wires and plugs are fresh and all sched. maint. is performed IAW service manual usually by me. Any input would be appretiated.
