Default Cornering Light Won't Work in 88 DeVille

My driver's side front cornering light (white light) does not work. I thought it was the bulb, so I went to Autozone and found what I thought would be the replacement (they did not have a match in the computer). I purchased a Sylvania 881 (12V27W). I put it in, but no light. Did I buy the correct bulb? If so, what other areas could be the problem? Thanks!

step 1. time to buy a car manule for your car with wiring diaram and a cheap test light.
then 2. take the bulb from the side that is working and see is it works on the bad side if not time to trouble shoot please start at step 1.

ps good luck.

Bulb that works on other side does not work on driver's side. The bulb is not the problem. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Did you ever get this problem solved? I have the same issue on my 1992 DeVille - Drivers's side doesn't work and the bulb is good.
