Default aftermarket radio

I have an aftermarket radio that i want to put my 98 caddy and i'm having trouble with sound after hooking up radio with the harness that i purchased at bestbuy. I asked a few people and they said has to do with the amp that is on the car. Is there a solution to this problem to where i can still use the new radio i want to put in??

I would suggest to contact tech support phone number which should be located in the install / operators manual of your new radio. They should be able to get you pointed in the right direction.

you have to bypass the factory amp....they sell a module that will allow you to use your factory amp...it cost around 100.00....that is what i did with my deville
