ACM code B1431

RE: ACM code B1431
I cannot find that code listed anywhere.
What symptoms are you having?
Or is this just out of curiosity.
Lots of codes set "behind the scenes" that never need a repair.
Your description and that the code begins with b means its unrelated to the Automatic transaxle.
If you had issues with the windshield wipers then i would inspect the relay and its circuit for problems.

RE: ACM code B1431
I have been having issues just in the last few days with the car jerking when you stop accelerating and the car gets up to speed. Its almost like the car is misfiring, but it never turns on the service light. Once you drive it for a while I don't notice it. It also gave me a code of P0440 but I think that was related to the gas cap not being on all the way. The only other problems I'm having is the passanger side A/C seems to have a mind of its own. When you select full cold it will blow hot on the Pax side. If you take the temp all the way to hot and then back down it will provide the temp you want. If you select defrost or defog it will only blow hot on the drivers side of the windshield the Pax side is always ice cold. Any correlation?
