I HAVE A 2000 DEVILLE AND MY BLOWER ONLY BLOWS THROUGH DASH NOT FLOOR OR DEFROST I THINK ITS A FLAP IN THE DUCTWORK BUT I DONT KNOW WHERE TO LOOK PLEASE HELP.

 

Sounds like a bad vent motor. Does it make a ticking noise?

 

Hey Roadking: To the best of my knowledge your air should only be coming out of your dash vents. There is a different vent flow channel for the defrost and heat, Unless something was changed on the newer models that I am unaware of. You will have a mixture door , a mode door for the air and a defrost door in you ducting system. The mode door will not allow the air to be channeled to the heat/defrost side. Hope this helps.
