Default 94 Deville blower motor draining battery.

I have a 94 Deville, and sometimes when the car is off, the blower motor cycles on and off slowly draining the battery. Is it true that the blower motor is solid state, and is it possible to have a cold solder joint causing this?

Stealth points to the right direction.

The blower motor is a true variable speed ECM (Electronically Commutated Motor), but just like its older brothers, it won't work without gettin juice to it. When the motor, or its electronic board fails, it either stops working or won't work correctly when commanded by the BCM.
