88 cadillac deville
In terms of quick and easy things to check, i would recommend looking at fuses. I had a problem with a Plymouth Grand Voyager where it would keep acting like it wasnt getting enough fuel. In fact, i had the a problem with my 83 deville and my brothers Nissan Sentra and they all were fuse issues. I know the engines arent even close to the same, but sometimes its easy to overlook the little things. If you do find a blown fuse, you probably have a short. None of this explains the overheating, but it could have something to do with the not starting and fuel issues. I just hope you didnt toast the engine. fingers crossed for you.
