I just bought a 92 deville with the 4.9 l engine. I do not know much about the car so have some questions as it did not come with an owners manual. How do I retrieve the ecm codes? How can I figure out exactly which transmission I need as it needs a transmission? How can I tell if I have traction control or not? Would there be a seperate fuse for it and where are the fuses located? I do not think I do but can't tell for sure?

well as far as the codes go press and hold the off and warmer button on the climate control till everything light upthen release.. codes will come up on ur fuel gauge panel
