Default 1986 Brougham Left signal flashing fast/not flashing when foot on brake

Hey guys, just bought a 1986 cadillac brougham last week and am getting used to some of the quirks it comes with. One thing I haven't been able to determine 100% is whether this problem is caused by a burning out turn signal bulb, or by a faulty flasher.

Problem: When I have my left turn signal on, and I'm not on the brake it just blinks really fast, like other cars do when their turn signal is burning out. However, when my foot is on the brake the turn signal just stays on, solid, not flashing at all. Does this sound like a bulb issue or the flasher itself? Also, anyone have a part number for the bulbs if that's the case? I can't seem to find that anywhere

Right turn signal works fine, in all situations.

My exact car: 1986 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham (Canada)

Thanks!

Sounds like a bad socket. With the lights and hazards determine which bulb is having a problems. Look both powers (2) and ground at socket.
