snapshot is a program that newer models come with. it is used to take a "picture" of the engine's read-outs at the time the snapshot was taken. this can be very helpful to techs and people who know what to do with the specifics of an engine at a certain point. its not really very useful for regular people just doin routine maintneance on your car unless you suspect something is outta wack, or just about to go.
im not too sure how to remove the caption saying snapshot taken though, hopefully someone else can helpe ya out with that
