I have a 2003 cts with a 5 speed Getrag manual M35 transmission. i am in the process of changing the clutch disk and pressure plate, but am having a problem with dropping the transmission. The top bolt on the bell housing is the problem. Does anyone known how to remove the the top center bolt from the bell housing?
Much help is appreciated.

 

is this front or rear wheel drive? if front should be able to get with wheel off and engine supported,may have to get a buddy with small hands. If rear a long 4 or 5 foot extension with a swivel on the end should get to it.
