I have a 2008 CTS. Recall for door issues has been performed. Now I have an issue the service department is separate --- that I need a new door actuator and it will cost $349. Can anyone tell me if this could be related to the recall issues or, if indeed, it is a totally separate issue.

If it is separate, how reasonable is the price quoted for the actuator?
