OK this has me stumped so I thought I would see if this has happened to anyone else.I got an error code that blend door 1 was out of spec then lost ac on drivers side,I pulled the lower dash pad to watch the actuator and it still moves,but it acts confused it is constantly searching back and forth and stuttering as it goes.Now before I drop 130 bucks on a actuator is it actually the problem or is there a controller to it some were that could be failing.Since it moves smooth just figets like it is getting erradic signals.

 

can you bring pass side actuator over and plug into drv side?? check it that way............ imo it sounds like you will be spending the buck-thirty.... good luck, let us know............k?

Actuator gears tend to strip causing door to chatter. Passenger and drivers side actuators are interchangeable, so you could swap them as rickyd suggested.

 

Thanks for the advice guys.It is the weirdest thing I got in it this morning set the temp to 90 and I was freezing and low and behold it works again.I guess it is on its way to death and I got a lucky second wind out of it.

 

good to hear... maybe you monkeying with it, it got the message if it doesnt straighten up and work right it'll be replaced. lol...
