I have a 2003 CTS.

Few days ago i went to start it and the engine would not crank.

Complete silence.

All dash lights worked, headlights worked and did not dim when i attempted to start the car.

I checked the following:

Codes. Non popped up other that front window codes.

Checked starter relay (swapped with blower relay) no luck

Checked battery: 12.5 volts

Checked connection to ECU.


When i insert the key in the security with lock light goes out after a few seconds.

-could it be the chip is faulty or de-programmed?

I am running out of options

The car does not crank or click. I turn the key to start and all goes silent.

any thoughts?
