help! how do you change the fuel filter?

Default help! how do you change the fuel filter?
i have a 2004 cts and i am having a hard time replacing the old fuel filter. i am able to remove the bolted connection, but unable to remove the two supply lines. does anyone have any thoughts?

You will need special tools to disconnect fuel lines from filter.

i thought so, but was unsure if i could do it by regular means. do what this tool is and where i may acquire it? also is anyone familiar with changing the spark plug? thanks!
