We have a 2012 CTS COUPE with 36,000 miles... pristine condition.
Until yesterday we discovered 10 inches of water in the trunk, destroying the tire pump... possible the lining as well.
We took our vehicle to Cadillac. $155 for a diagnostic. They said it was the Third Break Light located above the trunk.
To fix it would be $1200... We said no and I decided to contact Cadillac and reported this problem.
First it should not be leaking and I understand that my vehicle is over its warranty, because of time not miles, but it should not be leaking.
I believe this particular part should have had a recall on them... simply by going online and looking this particular issue it is an ongoing problem with the CTS
Lets hope they resolve this problem.
