Question Costs Associated With A Noisy Engine Flywheel

Hi guys,

I had a Check Engine Light with codes 2177,2178, 2179, and P0101.
Along with that, I have a rattling noise when I start the car, park the car, and when driving at low speeds.

It turned out that I needed the mass air flow sensor replaced and a fuel induction decarbonization.

I'm screwed because I still have the same rattling noise--and for them to tell me that the noise is coming from the engine flywheel and that I will need transmission service. On top of that, I cannot receive the transmission fluid that I need because of this, being that I'm also at a 16% level.

Had I known that, I would have put my money into having that repaired first. The noise is mainly audible when I start and park the car, but can also be heard at low speeds. Very little is heard at high speeds.

Does anyone know what costs are associated with a noisy engine flywheel? This car is frustrating the hell out of me.

Your help in this matter would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks.

This really isn't an estimating site. Every market is different so labor cost and parts costs can vary. Is this an automatic or manual transmission? Not sure what 16% means but I think you need a different repair facility and an accurate diagnosis.
