Costs Associated With A Noisy Engine Flywheel
Hi guys,
I had a Check Engine Light with codes 2177,2178, 2179, and P0101. Along with that, I have a rattling noise when I start the car, park the car, and when driving at low speeds. It turned out that I needed the mass air flow sensor replaced and a fuel induction decarbonization. I'm screwed because I still have the same rattling noise--and for them to tell me that the noise is coming from the engine flywheel and that I will need transmission service. On top of that, I cannot receive the transmission fluid that I need because of this, being that I'm also at a 16% level. Had I known that, I would have put my money into having that repaired first. The noise is mainly audible when I start and park the car, but can also be heard at low speeds. Very little is heard at high speeds. Does anyone know what costs are associated with a noisy engine flywheel? This car is frustrating the hell out of me. Your help in this matter would greatly be appreciated. Thanks. |
This really isn't an estimating site. Every market is different so labor cost and parts costs can vary. Is this an automatic or manual transmission? Not sure what 16% means but I think you need a different repair facility and an accurate diagnosis.
