Cadillac ATS small-mid-sized sedan caught testing platform in CTS shell

Cadillac ATS with a CTS body was spotted first time for testing purposes. Rumored to be the V6 or ATS-V hi-po version.

This thing will take on the 3-series, Audi A4, Mercedes C, Infiniti G and Lexus IS with a coupe, sedan, wagon, and convertible versions. ATS-V supposedly in the works too. Would be nice to see something take down the 3-series and their fanboys

Good timing then that an early prototype of the Cadillac ATS was just spied. Using a Cadillac CTS body shell for disguise, this ATS rides on the smaller Alpha platform and as clearly seen, the front and rear axles have been moved towards the middle of the chassis on this mule. The fuel filler door has also been moved towards the center by several inches.
