Default 2004 cts best bulb to use for low beam

I have had my CTS for 1 year now and the low beam bulbs need replaced. high beams very good, low beams poor. I want to replace the low beams with highest candle power allowed. I read that its not an easy job and more important, I like to see where i'm going. the driver's side has some hazing and the passenger side looks new.

thank you

c/p

I own a 2000 seville sls 75000m. Has anyone had a problem with the brightness of the low beam headlights at night. Is it possible i am running the daytime lights at night. My high beams are excellent but the lowbeams are very weak during the night.I bought siverstar ultras and nokya 80w 7000k and nothing seems to work.

are the lens clear? I haven't heard of poor lighting. Is battery voltage going to sockets?

lens on ps like new, must have been replaced recently, ds is a little hazy not enough to interfere with the brightness. high beams are bright on both sides
is it possible to check voltage from fuse box?
thanks
