Default Automatic Stop Start Question

A friend of mine has a 2018 CT6. He's wondering about the automatic stop start. Is there a way to disable it? I think I read that there's a switch that says "A" next to a switch that says "PW" and that this is it. Does it disable so that it's the default...so that it stays disabled even after shutting down the car and restarting?

Also, what is the "PW" switch?

To disable automatic start stop all you need to do is touch the button that has a capital "A" with a 3/4 circle around it. This disables auto start stop until the engine is shut off. You have to do this everytime you start the car. There is a wired in mechanism that will permanently disable it, but I'd rather just touch the button intead of adding any kind of additional wiring to the car. You eventually get used to turning auto start stop off every time you start the car, much like we got used to using seat belts all the time. Don't confuse the parking brake button with the one I'm talking about. The button I'm talking about is just to the left of your CUE screen, the bottom button. I am not aware of any PW switch, where are you seeing this?
