Trans gasket leakage causing rpm fluctuations?
Hi, my 1992 4.9 seville se is losing trans fluid due to leaking gasket on side pan. The trans shifts relativaly normal, but it seems that the engine rpms are influenced by the tranny. Is this possible? Does anyone know what can cause the engine to rev up to 2000rpm (and hold) after accelerating?
