Question Replacing Valve Cover Gaskets on an 02 Eldorado

I am replacing the valve cover gaskets on my 02 Eldorado - what is the pulley on the front valve cover on the drivers side? Apparently it is connected to the cam and needs to be pulled - what other things should I be looking for?

SLOWROLL are you still around?

Apparently this pulley cranks the water pump. Who would have guessed?

You pull it with a power steering puller and then coaxes the valve cover over it after removing the cover plate.
