Question pulled head bolt threads in block

having experienced bad head bolt threads on a 97 sls I'm now looking at a 2004 deville. has the head bolt problem been handled by the factory? should i stay away from the 04 or not. if caddy has fixed the problem when did it fix the problem. thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

steel and aluminum never mix well so that problem can always happen, but there r heli coil kits for this problem so it s all good

the northstar 4.6 is an all aluminum engine and is always prone to the headbolt issue. they did change the torque specs to help this issue. but anytime the engine experiences an overheating issue is always a possibility of the head bolts being pulled out enough to cause a head gasket issue. its very critical that this engine stays with in temp range and if you do that much you will be just fine.
