Default Northstar coolant change

I am new to this site and I can not find a way to refine my search to see if a thread on this has already been posted (I am sure it has). I just bought a 93 with the Northstar and a 118K miles. I want to change the coolant. I am looking for advice on the proper way to do that. On my 91 4.5 it was recommended that I drain the coolant not flush it. Is this the case on the Northstar, and if I should flush it just how do I do that??? On the 91 it was recommended that I use the GM tablets when changing coolant, is this the same for Northstar??? If so how many tablets should I use??? Also and other information on what to do or look for while servicing the cooling system, as I have no service history on the car. Thanks!
