what you say is pretty much how the WWW operates. sharing of technology, pictures, and articles.

one simply has to use judgment on how its done and certainly redirecting members to other sites, although necessary at times, it is not always a good idea.

its important to know the difference of public domain and private materials.
materials provided by agencies of the government usually are public domain and are owned by the taxpayers.

when quoting articles, its usually a good idea to give credit to the writer.
when posting news, remember they are news and news are public domain. those can be posted by interpreting or rewriting the news.

pictures .. same as above two .. but one can also hyperlink many, meaning the pictures wont reside here, but stay in the original site.

postings that are car related can be posted here, simply give credit to the writer .. ie

The only reason I know of to disconnect and then re-connect the Allante battery is to reset the air conditioning compressor clutch permissive to allow charging the system after a loss of refrigerant.

Resetting your car's computer after reconnecting the battery:
This takes just over 20 minutes to perform and should be done if you lose battery power or your battery has been disconnected for the winter.

1. Apply the parking brake.
2. Make sure the front wheels are straight.
3. Turn off the Electronic Climate Control.
4. Start the engine in "P" (Park) and let idle for 15 minutes then:
5. Put your foot on the brake pedal, shift the transaxle to "D" (Drive) and idle for three minutes. Do Not accelerate the engine.
6. Then, with the car in "D" (Drive) turn on the "Electronic Climate Control" to "auto" and let the engine idle for 3 minutes.
7. Turn your engine off.
Now your computer is programmed!

This information is found in your owner's manual.
