Beautiful car Katzman, I have a pink 4 door '59 that's sitting in a garage back home, just waiting for me to work on her. Unfortunatly for the time being, I'm stuck in Georgia... *sigh* some day. I'd post a pic of mine somewhere but all of the ones I have of her are too large (KB wise) I'll work on it.

Well I posted the picture twice, but in any case you get the idea. She's a good car.

Thanks for the pics, don't worry about posting twice here, this is not the **** board. Any shots of the inside or engine?

The '59 came with a 390 from the factory, followed by the 429, 472 and finally the 500 in the early '70s. Then came the 425 and then, with the variable displacement 368, this species of Cadillac powerplants went extinct in the early '80s.

Ok I'm back.

I don't have any pictures of the interior, or the engine block. As a matter of fact I believe that the one you see is the ONLY existing picture of the car. I doubt you'd want to see it anyway.

In any case, sorry it took so long to reply... I was in Iraq "fighting" this "war"...

My car had a 390 but we had it bored out to a 425ci.

It's good to be home.

I'd also like to see some photos, I was at my local cruise tonight and there was a coral colour '58 Sixty Special, just immaculate, didn't take my camera but I have a few from Canada Day I'll put up. By the way, kherov, glad you made it home safely, 6 of our boys came home the hard way this past weekend from Afghanistan....roadside bomb.
