Default 1956 Series 62 Carburetor Automatic Choke

I have a 1956 Series 62 with a 365 ci engine with a Rochester manual choke carb. I would love to get away from the manual choke and upgrade to an automatic choke carb. Would anyone have a suggestion for a replacement carb?

Thanks

Fwiw, I used to own a 1954 Fleetwood 60 series, if I had my druthers I would have preferred a manual choke, didn't really have problems
with auto choke, but you know where you are with a manual one.

You may install on your carb an electric choke; they are available. Replacing your carb by an Eldelthing can bring more problems that solution.

Roger,

Thanks for the reply. Do you know of a supplier who supplies an after market electric choke for a Rochester?

Thanks,
Brian

Sorry, Brian, not exactly. I'm located in Switzerland but I saw in the Cadillac LaSalle forum discussions about that. As my cars are not in a need of an electric choke, I never searched further.. You may have a look there ( in the CLS forum) or ask directly. You must register for that, but there are much more answers than here.
