Default 1963 CADDY HEAD GASKET LEAK??

I AM A NEW MEMBER LOOKING FOR INFORMATION REGUARDING MY 1963 CADDY 6200 4DOOR H/T. THE MOTOR (390) HAS BEEN REBUILT. THE REBUILT MOTOR SAT FOR 4 YEARS. I FINALLY PUT IT BACK IN THE CAR AND AFTER A SHORT RUNIN TIME NOTICED ANTIFREEZE LEAKING FROM THE BACK OF BOTH HEADS. I WENT BACK AND CHECKED THE HEAD BOLTS TO MAKE SURE THE TORQUE WAS CORRECT, IT WAS. BEFORE I PULL THE HEADS OFF I WONDER IF ANYONE HAS HAD THE SAME PROBLEM??

I don't believe the 4 yrs are a factor. When the heads are off; possibles are surfaces not cleaned or pitted, incorrect gasket there are 2 different versions of the 390 (year matters 63 and earlier and 64 and later)you want to be sure what year engine is,or over use of abrasive discs used to clean off old gasket head and block took off too much material causing one or the other not to be flat. Check both block and head with straight edge.
