Default Cadillac automatic transmission life

Meaning, how many miles did your Cadillac transmissions go before it wore or broke?
A minor repair, count it as still going.

Reset your count at zero with an overhaul, but not with a minor repair such as a solenoid R&R.

ive lost 2 1991 4T60E's around 120-138k miles im in the process of pulling the working car's transmission and having it rebuilt, the working car's transmission wouldnt have went except it had a cooler leak, the lines rusted through and broke off while i was driving so the transmission burned up, my other car's transmission still "works" technically you just have to shift it manually into first to get it to move

95 seville sts has 160,000 miles on it now. I am the 2nd owner not sure if the transmission has ever been serviced but the last owner took very good care of the vehicle. I have been thinking of pulling pan changing the filters and replacing only the fluid that came out but Im kind of afraid that may cause a problem. I think I will post a thread on that.

Ok thanks for reply. So pump out some fluid before adding the Lucas so not to overfill, add the Lucas and drive around for a week then drain, change filter, fluid and add another bottle of Lucas? I have seen the question asked before but no answer--About how many quarts total will come out when taking the pan off and the drain plug inside?
