My car is an 87 brougham d elegance. It came with the wire wheels from the factory. I am not a big fan of the wire caps so i would like to change them out. I have another set of 80s caddy caps which i love...i believe they are referred to as turbine caps. These turbine caps will not fit onto my rim. They look like they will, the retaining tabs seem to be in the correct location but i cannot for the life of me get them on. I have even removed the center hub attachment that used to hold the wire caps on.

Am i missing something?

Does anyone know what rim i need for these turbine caps if my originals designed for wire caps will not work?

Do the rims that will work with these turbine caps have the same bolt pattern as my 87 brougham d elegance?
