How to pressurize air ride while car is jacked?
I am planning on replacing the rear struts on my 1993 Deville. After installing the new struts and before lowering the vehicle to the ground, the repair manual I have says that I need to "Lightly pressurize the electronic level control system by momentarily grounding the compressor test lead in the engine compartment. This must be done before lowering the vehicle."
I have no idea how to ground the compressor test lead. I have found the air pump, and I see where the power supply connects to it, but beyond that I am lost.
If I simply can't figure out how to run the compressor with the rear jacked up, how big of a deal is it if I just lower it and let the sensor kick the compressor on once it's lowered? Thanks for the help.
