Just purchased a 2002 Escalade with electronic ride. The service ride control light is on. I pulled the code(0581 or 0580 can't remember) but it said to check the rt front solenoid conector for interfearance between it and the ac suction hose and damage to the conector.

There is no damage to the connector and everything appears to be in working order. Any other ideas as to what could be setting this code and will this code also made the suspension default to a stiff mode? I mean the thing rides like it has bricks on all four coners.

Just another note, I have noticed that the lower control arms are in contact with the bump stops. The torsion bars are adjusted to the maximum tension but show no signs of being broke.

Just another note, this is a limo conversion done by Ultra (who is now out of business) it is a 180" conversion with 62000 miles on it.
