Hello all

I am in the stage of doing a lot of work to my 1972 Cadillac, it is in fact a LHD model and is a herse, still beautifully done out with all the frills
(my wife hates it).

Here is my list below.
The power steering hydraulic hose or pump is leaking oil *
The front stabilizer arm, bushes and rubbers worn out *
Caster control arm rubbers, big flat round rubbers worn *
The front wheels are touching the chassis on full lock both ways, adjustment screw must be adjusted out, or this vehicle has larger tyres fitted *
Auto gearbox oil leak, oil all over the gearbox, (transmission) the sump pan gasket has been worked on, I can see red silicone, must be washed and driven to see where it is leaking oil from.
Front crank seal is leaking oil *

Between the rear crank seal and the torque convertor there is also an oil leak, cannot see which, too dirty under there must be cleaned and driven. *
Rear gearbox mounting is broken *
Engine mountings both left and right broken, the engine is lying on the safety plates *
Right rear shock is leaking oil, it is new but has been damaged by hitting something *
Exhaust mountings, rear is broken, middle two or three are worn, need to be replaced as well, or make new ones.*
Rear Shackle bushes x 4 worn out, must be replaced *
The steering pitman arm ball joint worn, got lots of play , must be replaced. *

The bonnet has bubble rust in front on the lip where the catch is situated
The interior is faded and the inner door panels are faded from the sun
The bonnet left corner is lifted up, caused by possible an accident, does not close propely and panel beating and welding has taken place in this area. There are also terrible rust holes and the futher you look, I am sure that more rust will be found in this area.

Interior side lamps not working (is there a seperate switch to operate them)? Button on rear door might be the problem?
Rust on the right rear door (surface)
Rust on the left rear door (surface)
The windscreen is cracked and it is also leaking water through the top rubber and the sun screen is faded. *
All the door rubbers are worn and need replacing, water leaking in. *
Side window lip channel rubbers damaged on the outside and inside. *
All the doors are leaking water into the interior because rubbers are damaged and worn, drain holes in the bottom of the doors to be checked if open to allow water to drain out the bottom.
Right rear tail light lens is broken *
Right front headlight/ spotlight not working, sealed beam. *
Rust on the left front door under the window surface bubbles.
Right middle door rust
Bench seat needs recovering
Dash lights faulty
Roof lining has holes in it
Interior upholstery is faded

Exhaust is leaking
Sparkplugs
Air cleaner pan cake
Fuel filter
Gearbox oil
Diff oil
Grease points
